Our Mission

About ACH:
For over a century, ACH has provided hope and support for children and families in need across North Texas, fulfilling our mission of protecting children and preserving families.
ACH began as the Church Women’s Cooperative in Fort Worth bringing together diverse denominations to create a home for destitute women and children.
From this influential community collaboration, ACH grew to span multiple campuses providing a wide range of services for the whole family unit.
Our programs serve homeless, abused and neglected children, offering a broad range of care that includes evidence-based prevention services, temporary supportive housing for families, an emergency youth shelter, residential care, foster care, adoption, and supervised independent living for young adults aging out of foster care.
Mission Statement:
Through strength-based partnership, ACH Child and Family Services brings resources and skills to children and families struggling with life’s challenges.
Together we develop solutions that create safety, hope, love, and the capacity to thrive.
